Niger’s Malam Barka Interviewed for Francophone Games

Corsier-sur-Vevey, SWITZERLAND (December 6) -- Malam Barka has contributed a lot to the sport of wrestling. The Nigerien leader has lead initiative to bring more notoriety to the sport of wrestling on the African continent and in 2013 was the Technical Delegate for the Francophone Games in Nice, France.
The Francophone Games recently feature Mr. Barka on their website and asked him about a variety of his contributions to wrestling in Niger, African and around the world.

The best times during the Games is when I see thousands of young Francophones communicate with each other through sports and culture, this large mixing between young people from different cultures. I think that the wrestlers discover traditional values of others and help his comrades. You can see them on the arena smiling and full of joy. I learned something new at each games.
How do you see the 2017 Games in Côte d'Ivoire and the 2021 Games?
The experiences of previous Games will allow us to remedy the difficulties and shortcomings observed for proper organization of 2017 Games in Côte d'Ivoire and even for 2021 Games Also, given the commitment of the authorities of Côte d'Ivoire and CNJF I had the opportunity to work with the 2017 Games will be a record success and especially we expect participation African struggle knowing Abidjan as one of the cores of Control in West Africa.
In your opinion, how the Games offer a Francophone cultural diversity and a national cultural policy?
Many francophone countries are full of cultural values that are unfortunately still hidden from site. I think the introduction in the various cultural competitions Games encourage countries to reflect , climbing strategies to search, search, identify values to present to the Games where the adoption of the national policy plan to meet the agreement
