UWW announces launch of UWW+

CORSIER-SUR-VEVEY, Switzerland (August 14) -- United World Wrestling has launched UWW+, a new subscription-based video platform built for wrestling fans around the world.

As a UWW+ subscriber, an individual will get access to video on demand, the biggest wrestling events of the season -- including the world and continental championships and the Ranking Series events -- captivating docuseries, exclusive off-the-mat content and much more.

With three different subscription models, a subscriber will be able to tailor the subscription plans to their needs. The three subscription plans include a daily pass, pay-per-match, or a tournament pass.

The UWW+ aims to bring wrestling closer to its fans and audience. The model will give wrestling fans an experience like no other. Follow the action from the upcoming World Championships, and enjoy the best wrestling content all in one place.

Lalovic meets Kyrgyzstan President, awarded Order of Friendship

BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan (December 8) -- United World Wrestling President Nenad LALOVIC visited Kyrgyzstan on an official visit last week and was received by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr JAPAROV.

The two met in Bishkek and discussed Kyrgyzstan's success in wrestling, and the Kyrgyz President noted UWW's contribution towards the development of wrestling and expressed confidence that under Lalovic's leadership the sport will continue to develop dynamically around the world.

UWW Asia President Mohammed AL-AMAMLEH was also present during the meeting and acknowledged the contribution of the continental organization towards growing wrestling.

After the meeting, Japarov awarded Lalovic for his great contribution to the development of wrestling in Kyrgyzstan and raising the status of wrestling on the world stage. In turn, Lalovich presented Japarov with the UWW Order.

Awamleh was awarded with the Certificate of Honor of the Kyrgyz Republic.
