The World Cup for Belt Wrestling Alysh held earlier this month to mark the end of the competition year with athletes from 17 countries from 3 continents participating in the event. 

Competition was accompanied by official meeting of United World Wrestling’s World Belt Wrestling Committee and International Federation of Wrestling on Belts Alysh Executive committee meeting. 

Representatives of all three belt wrestling styles of World Belt Wrestling Committee were present at the meetings where the developments and calendar from 2016 where discussed and new challenges set for 2017. The committee also discussed on matters pertaining to the most important sport events for belt wrestling in 2017.
