Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Russia each placed three wrestlers into Tuesday night's European freestyle finals. 

Russia's three-time world and Olympic champion Abdulrashid Sadualev opened up with European Championships with two wins and will wrestle Monday night for a spot in the 97kg finals.
