FILA has been informed with great sadness of the passing away, this morning, of its Vice-President, Dr Matteo Pellicone, also President of the Italian Wrestling Federation.

Our thoughts and sincere condolences go to Mr Pellicone's family and close friends.

The Italian Federation announces that it will be possible to pay homage to Mr Pellicone at the ""Sala Consiglio"" of the Olympic Center in Ostia, Italy. The hall will be open on Tuesday 10th December from 12 to 5 pm and on Wednesday 11th December from 10 am to 5 pm.

The funeral is scheduled for Thursday 12th December at the Regina Pacis church in Ostia from 2 pm.
