CORSIER-SUR-VEVEY (June 15) -- United World Wrestling recently learned of the sudden death of Gennady ARZIUTOV, president of the European Association of Wrestling Alysh and vice-president of International Federation of Wrestling on Belts Alysh. 

Mr. Arziutov's professionalism, competence and dedication earned him genuine respect from all those who worked with him in Ukraine and internationally. His contribution to the development of physical culture and sports is well-known and will be remembered. Mr. Arziutov was a special person, a talented leader, but most importantly - gentle and kind man who has treated everyone with respect, regardless of title and position.

United World Wrestling and the entire wrestling community extends its deepest sympathy to all of his colleagues, friends and family.
