By United World Wrestling Press

CORSIER-SUR-VEVEY, Switzerland (March 17) -- United World Wrestling, the international federation for the sport of wrestling, has changed its core web address from UnitedWorldWrestling.org, to UWW.org. The change will take place immediately.

"Our federation rebranded itself United World Wrestling in 2014 and I see UWW.org as another step in our brand story," said Gordon Templeman, Director of Commercial Operations & Communications. "Having a more precise domain where fans can connect quickly and easily will benefit both in the short and long term. In a competitive online space a straightforward URL can be the difference in someone visiting your website or going elsewhere and we did not want to leave that to chance."

The switch to UWW.org provides wrestling fans all over the world with a URL access the website's content.

UWW.org will continue to provide the world's best coverage and information on international wrestling events, webinars, development, governance and much more.
