RIONEGRO, Colombia (June 23) -- Following the U23 Pan-American Wrestling Championships, Rionegro in Colombia is hosting the first-ever U23 Pan-American Beach Wrestling Championships.

Wrestlers in eight weight categories, four each in men's and women's, compete in two rings. The rounds will begin at 10:00 hours local time and the medal bouts will begin at 18:00 hours.

UWW launches coaches and mentorship program

CORSIER-SUR-VEVEY, Switzerland (June 29) — United World Wrestling has signed an agreement with the Hungarian Wrestling Federation for a mentorship program in addition to the coaches program delivered by the University of Hungary.

This is the first-ever coaches and mentorship program taking place from 8 April to 12 June in Budapest, Hungary.

The application for the Olympic Solidarity Coaches Scholarship Programme must be submitted through their respective National Olympic Committee and send a copy to: development@uww.org.

Application deadline: February 1, 2026
University of Hungary - Course dates: April 8 to May 28, 2026
KIMBA – HUN NF - Mentorship programme: May 29 to June 12, 2026
English proficiency is mandatory for applicants
