Lost by technical fall in final to Mohammadhadi SARAVI (IRI)...Followed up with bronze medal at Istanbul tournament in June. Lost to world champion Musa EVLOEV (RUS) 8-0, defeated Ali CETIN (TUR) 7-0 in bronze-medal match. Won Ukrainian International in February, beating 2019 world silver medalist and 2016 Olympic champion Artur ALEKSANYAN (ARM) 7-5 in semifinals, then taking title by injury default over Giorgi MELIA (GEO)....At 2019 World Championships, lost 1st-round match 2-1 to Cenk ILDEM (TUR).
