The Tokyo Olympic Games will be Maida's fourth Olympic Games and 35th senior-level competition. The 37-year-old also competed at the ‘08 Bejing, ‘12 London, ‘16 Rio and the ‘21 Tokyo Olympic Games. His highest finish was seventh place at the ‘12 London Olympics. He’s is also a nine-time African medalist -- including a six-time champ. Maidana won matches against Ayoub BARRAJ (TUN) and Ishak BOUKHORS (ALG) at the Africa and Oceania Olympic Qualifier and punched his ticket to Tokyo.
