- Development of African Wrestling in the World in compliance with the United World Wrestling constitution and requirement
- Consolidation of National Federations developing the sport of African Wrestling
- Assurance that the values of sportsmanship are respected in all circumstances
- Development of the competition rules
- Set up of the annual competition calendar
- Supervision of the international competitions in United World Wrestling Calendar
- Establish contact and cooperation between United World Wrestling and African Wrestling organizations around the world
- To draw up the agenda of the African Wrestling Congress
