PIRAE, Tahiti (April) -- The Oceania Wrestling Council last month held its Annual General Assembly in Pirae, Tahiti. The Executive Committee, led by president Antonio I. Aquino (GUM), discussed a range of topics including a review of worldwide sporting participation, athlete development programs, education and professional outreach.

CASABLANCA, Morocco (April 29) — The African Championships begins today with the U17 age-group. All then U17 weight class in Greco-Roman and five Women’s Wrestling weight classes — 43kg, 49kg, 59kg, 65kg and 73kg — will be in action on Tuesday.
