OSLO, Norvège (4 octobre) -- Deux mois après leur rencontre en finale olympique, Abdulrashid SADULAEV (RWF) et Kyle SNYDER (USA) pourraient organiser une autre finale aux Championnats du monde. 97kg et 70kg débute lundi à l'arène Jordan Amfi. La lutte féminine sera en cours alors que la médaillée d'argent olympique Aisuluu TYNYBEKOVA (KGZ) tentera de remporter son deuxième titre mondial en 62 kg. 1110: Un autre attachement fort d'Ozaki mais cette fois Tynybekova parvient à le défendre. Mais elle traîne toujours 0-4 à deux minutes de la fin. Maintenant, Tynybekova attaque et elle réduit l'avance à 2-4 avec une mise à terret. Maintenant, une autre mise à terre pour mener 4-4. Elle a la ceinture mais les juges l'appellent hors limites. 1200: Kyle SNYDER (USA) and Abdulrashid SADULAEV (RWF) both beginning their campaigns with wins. They are on the opposite sides of the brackets and can only meet in the finals

1140: Another strong attach from Ozaki but this time Tynybekova manages to defend that. But she still trails 0-4 with two minutes to go. Now Tynybekova on the attack and she cuts the lead to 2-4 with a takedown. Now another takedown to lead 4-4. She gets the gut but judges call it out of bounds. Long shot from Ozaki, she gets the leg but isn't able to finish. Tynybekova manages to get a takedown on the edge 6-4 and the time expires. What a match from the young star but Tynybekova using all her experience there to win

1135: Ozaki with a double leg takedown against Tynybekova and adds another to lead 4-0 early in the bout. Ozaki unfazed by the defending world champion

1130: Sakurai wins 10-4 and next on Mat B is Tokyo silver medalist Aisuluu TYNYBEKOVA (KGZ) and in blue is cadet world champion Nonoka OZAKI (JPN). Meanwhile Batirov moves on with an 8-0 win

1125: Adam BATIROV (BRN) against Zaur EFENDIEV (SRB) on Mat A will be looking for his second world title. Junior European champion Oleksandra KHOMENETS (UKR) gets a big throw for four to cut the lead to 4-8 against former cadet world champion Tsugumi SAKURAI (JPN).

Seal et Depa remportent l'or, le Canada gagne le titre de meilleure équipe aux Championnats Pan Am Junior

LIMA, Pérou (10 juin) – Les lutteuses du Canada ont remporté six médailles aux Championnats Pan Am Junior, avec les médaillées d'or Alexia SEAL (CAN) et Nicole DEPA (CAN) en tête.

Seal a gagné 2-0 à 44 kg en battant Ramona PAEZ CRUZ (MEX) par tombé en demi-finale et Laura RUBIO PEREZ (COL) 14-4 en finale. Seal a remporté le bronze aux Championnats Pan American Cadet les deux années précédentes avant de grimper dans les classements junior en 2017.

Depa a dominé ses adversaires à 63 kg en gagnant 10-0 par supériorité technique face à Fabiana CHAVES ALCANTARA (BRA) et Leonela Aleyda AYOVI PARRAGA (ECU).

Jayd DAVIS (CAN), 51 kg, Hannah TAYLOR (CAN), 55 kg et Dejah Aniela SLATER (CAN), 72 kg, ont remporté l'argent pour le Canada. Le pays a remporté sa dernière médaille à 59 kg grâce à Tianna Grace KENNETT (CAN) qui a gagné le bronze.

Emma BRUNTIL (USA), championne à 59 kg a remporté la Golden Boot. Sa performance a été remarquable. Elle a gagné 4-0 à 59 kg, gagnant une fois par supériorité technique et trois fois par tombé en un total de 4:41. Elle a battu la championne en titre Kennett en 44 secondes.

Les américaines ont remporté une deuxième médaille d'or grâce à Jayden LAURENT (USA) qui a dominé la catégorie 67 kg. Elle a commencé le tournoi en battant la médaillée d'argent des Pan Am Senior de 2016 Yudari SANCHEZ RODRIGUEZ (CUB). Laurent a gagné deux fois par supériorité technique et une fois par forfait à 67 kg.

 

Cuba a rejoint le Canda et les USA en remportant deux médailles d'or en lutte féminine. La double championne du Cerro Pelado Lianna de la Caridad MONTERO HERRERA (CUB) a gagné l'or à 55 kg en battant Taylor (CAN) 10-0. Mabelkis CAPOTE PEREZ (CUB) a gagné l'argent il y a une année au même tournoi, et a réussi a remporter l'or cette année à 72 kg grâce à trois victoires impressionnantes.

La championne en titre Adrianny CASTILLO (VEN) a remporté l'or à 51 kg. Elle a battu Davis (CAN) par tombé en finale. Elle a disputé son match le plus serré face à la future médaillée de bronze Gabriela RAMOS DIAZ (PUR). Castillo a gagné deux championnats Pan Am en division cadet et junior.

La finale la plus intéressante de la journée s'est déroulée à 48 kg entre Nadia Comanecci TRUJILLANO LA ROSA (PER) et Shayanne Vitoria DA SILVA (BRA). Les deux athlètes ont attaqué tour à tour pendant la première partie du match, jusqu'en seconde avant que la péruvienne ne marque une prise décisive. Lorsqu'elle est tombé, La Rosa dominait le match 19-17.

Le prix de meilleure équipe a facilement été remporté par le Canada. Les USA ont terminé deuxièmes grâce à quatre médaillées, et le Brésil se place en troisième position.

Les Championnats Pan American Junior reprennent le 11 juin avec la lutte libre. Les rounds de qualifications commenceront à 10h du matin heure locale, et les matchs pour les médailles sont prévus à 17h.
