L'UWW exclut Modzmanashvili après réanalyse de ses échantillons de Londres

CORSIER-SUR-VEVEY, Switzerland (November 10) -- United World Wrestling a annoncé que Davit MODZMANASHVILI (UZB) a été exclu jusqu’au 2 octobre 2026 suite à la nouvelle analyse de ses échantillons des Jeux Olympiques de Londres en 2012.

Modzmanashvili, qui a concouru pour l’Ouzbékistan depuis 2017, a été testé positif à la substance interdite déhydrochlorméthyltestotérone (turinabol oral).

Modzmanashvili avait remporté une médaille d’argent en lutte libre en 120kg et son retrait a réorganisé l’ordre des médaillés des Jeux de Londres 2012. Bilyal MAKHOV (RUS) est devenu le nouveau médaillé d’argent et Daulet SHABANAY (KAZ) le médaillé de bronze.
